Vintage Mini Sombrero Hat Barrette With Paper Flowers And Multi Colored Ribbon Cascade Handmade
I made this or put it all together for a Cinco de Mayo costume in the 1980's.
Worn once in excellent condition.
A beautiful velvet mini sombrero (6" wide) was used and I attached the metal barrette to it.
The hat is a perfect miniature of a real sombrero in black with yellow accents and multi colored sequins.
The under side of the hat there is the neck strap and more sequins and yellow thread.
The back of the hat there are 4 crepe paper flowers red, purple, dark yellow and violet with yellow centers.
From the flowers flow a cascade of multi colored curling ribbon about 23" long.
This is truly one of a kind, handmade by me.
